Business Strategist

We are looking for a Business Strategist to join our growing team of analytical, creative and strategic thinkers.

Business Strategist

In this role, you will be part of the Strategy and Service Design team. Our team's responsibility is to define future direction and strategies of change for our clients, and design offerings and organisations that support the crafted vision.

Our strategy work helps clients to make informed decisions about their next steps. This includes creating a holistic understanding of the client’s current state and the future they should aim for. As a Business Strategist, you would have a vital role in these projects alongside our service designers, business developers, designers, and developers. We are a rigorous, creative, and innovative bunch of people, and we focus on creating positive change.

What you'll do:

  • Craft strategies for companies, business units, products, and services
  • Research and crystallize the future markets through market research, benchmarking, trend analysis and competitor analysis
  • Interact with different stakeholders to understand client companies' current state from leadership style to financial situation
  • Present findings and argument for your choices
  • Give your input in structuring and developing Motley's strategy competence
  • Also, supporting our sales process will be part of your duties, as creating and presenting proposals is a central part of the strategy team's activities.

What we expect:

  • Ability to both lead and deliver strategy projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with experts from different backgrounds
  • Experience from several business strategies and transformation projects
  • Previous experience in a management consultancy or agency
  • Analytical skills combined with creative problem-solving skills. You see the big picture and how it impacts on business. You have a vision and ability to inspire.
  • Business models, productisation, pricing and defining the financial potential of an idea are something you master
  • You're good at being with people and not scared to open your mouth in a crowded room
  • Mentoring skills
  • Fluent English and Finnish
